Decent Family Pub/Restraunt South Bristol

We are off on Sunday for a day out in the Cooper S, looking to stop for a nice evening meal with the family.

Can anyone recommend a good pub/restraunt somewhere between Blagdon & Bristol please?

Plume of Feathers at Rickford just outside Blagdon has good food and beer, well worth a stop, family run too. Gets busy - might be worth calling first to see if you can book a table.

This is a bit further out but the Ring o'Roses in Holcombe is great. We used to live in the next village and went when we could. One of those plces you could rely on a great meal. Hope that's of some use.
