Sly and the Family Stone popped up on a Spotify recommended play list last year - always aware of them, but never listened to them.

What a band! How the flip did I miss them.

Love making little discoveries like this.

I'd never heard of Little Barrie until their drummer died, and Marc Riley played a track of theirs.

very late to the Ghost party, but i do like their gothic, pompous, atonal bombast [?]

them swedes, they thumb their scandic noses at the dullness of blue jeans, cheque shirts and 4/4 RnB .

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Soul to squeeze

This has a really nice bass line to it, nothing too fancy but a great groove. Not being an album track, and not being a massive chili peppers fan, I only heard it a month or so ago and it’s got me into their early stuff

Their most recent, Dixie Highway, is well worth a listen for some good ole southern rawk smile
