Hi,

Wonder if there are any knowledgeable keyboard players out there who are familiar with Kurzweil?

I’ve just sold my Nord Grand keyboard after 5 years and am looking for something that’s a little more inspirational. After doing quite a bit of online research, the K2700 seems to look like a very powerful and interesting option but there appears to be no UK dealers! Are Thomann the only option? I’m a little concerned buying from them without the option to play first so it would be good to hear from anyone with experience.

Thanks!

Apparently you can t. No UK support at all.

Thought I’d leave this here in case it helps anyone else.

Kurzweil show a UK distributor called sound service, and Anderson’s and a place in Newcastle have a few keyboards in stock, albeit not the one you’re looking for.

From another source I found late last night, there is zero support for Kurzweil in the UK.

Bonners are selling a faulty one for spares because even they can’t get it fixed by Kurzweil.

I have a feeling that the ones being sold at Andertons and Bonners are old leftover stock.

Have decided I need to look elsewhere.

Anyone tried an Arturia AstroLab as that’s my next call for a play.
