Knebworth Music Events and camping

Going to Eddfest tomorrow at Knebworth - camp a lot at Le Mans in heat but with car next to tent and decent showers etc. Separate car park ticket so assume need to pack light.

Anyone camped at Knebworth? Any dos or don't and what you can bring in etc.

Haven't seen Iron Maiden since mid eighties, only done day trips to Monsters of Rock a bit earlier (not the most hygienic audience judging by the reused 2 litre cider bottles filling the air!) and an odd day trip to V Festival when Sugarbabes hit No 1.

can;t help with the questions you asked but can say get there early. I live nearby and last time we had a gig this big at Knebworth the ques were going back down the A1 to the M25

thanks hopefully should be OK as camping Friday and stage acts start 3pm Saturday, plus have seen quite a few discounted tickets on Travelzoo etc

We plan on getting there around 2:15 ish to allow time to get through security in time for The Almighty who go on stage at 15:05

Should have taken wheelbarrow and luggage strap as 3 walks in and 2 trips this morning to leave- 15 mins or so each way. Luckily managed to camp near entrance at bottom of hill and move car early Saturday up to a space at front. Posted about merch queues in heavy thread

Yeah the merch queues were mental and they were still like it just before maiden came on stage
