This isn't cover versions, or reimaginings, or parodies, or sampling.

What tracks do you have where it's the same title/name, but something completely different from another artist?

Opening gambit, "Go", Pearl jam vs The Chemical Brothers.

There's a few Stranglers songs that have entirely different songs by other artists

Dagenham Dave - one by The Stranglers, the other by Morrissey

Someone Like You - Adele

Never Say Goodbye - Bon Jovi

Let's Spend the Night Together by the Rolling Stones and David Bowie springs to mind.

I had to laugh when I read the one about The Power of Love. I was in a hotel bar in Florida years ago when they have a karaoke night and a girl asked for that song so they played the Huey Lewis version and she was mortified because she wanted the Jennifer Rush one!

That’s just a cover, surely?

On a similar tack though:

Happy - The Rolling Stones
Happy - Pharrell Williams

Changes - Bowie (1971) and Changes - Black Sabbath (1972), I think Ozzy even changes the lyrics for version with Kelly.

All in the charts at some point during the same year weren't they ('85)?
