Hi, does anyone know a reliable source for digital downloads of her earlier work? MP3 preferably but,

Would "Switched On Bach" be found under Wendy, Walter or both.

Honestly curious I haven't previously given it any thought

I believe she's withdrawn all her music from public sale and anything put up on streaming sites is rapidly taken down again.

Finding her stuff in second hand bins is your best bet.

A Clockwork Orange, the movie, is currently showing in Sky Cinema with lots of Walter/Wendy Carlos on the soundtrack. It's a key feature of the film. Soundtrack album also available.

It's all there.

If you're ever in Asheville, North Carolina the Moog Museum is well worth a visit.

^^^ Nice find.

Speaking of which, it's easy to see see how Keith Emerson set out on his way towards the Moog Modular, via Mr Hammond's shop,

Leonard Bernstein famously despised The Nice and their aggressive, driving instrumental rearrangement of his song "America" from West Side Story. Bernstein said, "I utterly loathe what they've done, they've corrupted my work."

JS Bach didn't have the same opportunity to express his opinion about Carlos' endeavours.

P.S. It's worth letting this Youtube clip run if you're interested in this sort of stuff.
