Slayer are awesome, I can't take Dragonforce seriously though, they're talented but there just way too cheesy for me. Disturbed are just pretty average IMHO.

I've only seen them on Kerrang TV - with their crap videos, crap vocalist, with crap hairstyle ... and their tosser-type guitar solos.

Are Dragonforce a serious band or are they a parody? In terms of technical ability they're very, very good, but their songs are just dross. It's the same with guys like Michael Angelo Batio: dazzling speed but nothing to say (and the risk of an RSI!)

Raining Blood, otoh, an absolute classic!

No-one's mentioned Pantera yet!
