That's an airfield, not a circuit.

As such, it is laid out like an airfield.

...and it depends what layout they build on the day. If they get a lot of Caterwesticals attending they make it tight & twisty, if it's turbo-nutter-barges they given them a bit more room.

You've missed the nuance.

Turn left a bit, straighten up, turn left a bit more than last time, straighten up, turn left a bit less than last time, straighten up...and watch out for those with 3 or 4 corners instead of 2 (or 4 if you count the in and out as 2 corners) as they may catch you out.

Good call.

One i've been to and shan't be revisiting is Blyton Park, flatter than a witch's tit and felt a bit 'Mickey Mouse' to me without any real flow to it.

Don’t particularly enjoy brands hatch Indy (paddock hill interesting that’s about it)

Compared to my favourites of Oulton, Croft, Anglesey etc I don’t feel it comes close.

Silverstone National a challenging and technical circuit now compared to what it used to be....

Brands Indy is my favourite to watch actual racing, as you can see the whole lap from the paddock hill stand.

Oulton never excites me, the action always seems far away.

Certainly, I've been there once and probably won't go back, even though I live 10 minutes from it.

Would rather drive 2 and a half hours to oulton or cadwell.

Blyton is very flat but still has more interest than Mallory top me, or Bedford.

Haven't tried Silverstone, my car is too slow for a track that wide and open

Are you sure that's the National circuit (of any era)?

I thought the National was this one...

Yep that is the old club circuit which is what the national turned into after one of the many butchering sessions

Imagine if F1 decided that for the 2022 British GP, you had to do 10 laps of the National circuit and 50 laps of the GP circuit in any order you choose, that would be entertaining …

Llandow is pretty dull even though it's my local track. Good for testing and pretty cheap too but not what you call an engaging track layout.

I always enjoyed Mallory Park, although I haven’t been for years.

Blyton is st.

But my nomination goes to Croix en Ternois.
