Guy Martin to race at Silverstone.

Guy has been testing the S2000R at Oulton Park & will be racing in the Racing Honda Championship in April.
Sounds like a one off, as James Kaye will be competing in it from then on.

I hope that it is made into one of his TV programmes.

I hope he gets some breathing space. I was at a Time Attack meeting a few years ago where Guy was competing. I was amazed to see the poor guy pursued by literally hordes of excitable youngsters , all hell bent on getting selfies - Guy looked like a hunted animal. I had arranged an interview with him (so yes , I was perhaps part of the problem too ) and found him a decent chap , if very intense and maybe even slightly unsettling . He is an absolute natural in front of a TV camera though .

A year or so later I noticed him at a Straightliners event where a friend was competing- totally relaxed , thanks to an absence of hystercial youngsters.

I would imagine that a lot of popular hosts must get hounded... especially if they are being filmed.
(Wanna be 'ont telly).

OK & has to be accepted for an organised event (work)... but annoying if they just want to chillax.
