WET STUFF

Turned on the DVR to watch F1 practice and I had forgotten which Grand Prix was in play this weekend. Once I saw the track with water everywhere it immediately came to mind that it must be Silverstone. My hat is off to those of you that drive Ultima's on wet streets. If it has rained , looks like rain or is forecast to rain the Ultima stays in the garage. On those 7 days out of the year I drive a Subie STI. Lee

Rained for most of the 450 miles down to Le Mans. I was on my street Pirelli tyres so with gentle use of the throttle you are fine. Does rather defeat the whole purpose of the car though when you have to pootle along.

However, the car looked horrible after the journey and needed a good clean the next morning.

The way its been going over the last few years It looks now like we'll be getting 7 days of sunshine!
I've done around 13000 miles with about half of that in rain........
Not sure I could stand all that sunshine and heat you've got

I've had no leaks from the car whilst driving it in the torrential rain.

With Kumhos though, it's not what I'd call fun.
