I thought I share this to give some new builders some ideas how to get a proper shifter
for the cable operated boxes.

Uwe, that looks very cool and it does seem to be much higher so in perfect reach of the hand next to the steering. It looks a bit like this Porsche product from the US I saw recently. I don't know about the price difference though...

spatz; i truly hope that I am wrong, but I have the same shifter and I am 6 foot 2. I could not possibly drive the car with the shifter that far forward. As I say hope that I am wrong, but you might want to check the position again. Lee

Hello i would rather use this kind of Shifter. According to me, but i can be wrong, CMS manufacture only the pivot base, and adds a kind of SSk shifter.
