Ok, continuing from my previous problem, I have removed the knock sensors, checked wiring (OK and have continuity) - then cleaned and retorqued (18ftlb)..

No problems reported just with the ign on...

Fired up. cleared all codes and waithed... after about 30 sec the same code comes up P0324 - but says something different

P0324 - Knock Sensor module performance (SES) etc

??? Are they faulty or is it something else?

I am beginning to get concerned that I will not be ready for next weekend track day...

Any idea folks.??????.. Do I have to go and buy 2 more (cos it seems it will not tell you which of the two is at fault)?
Problem is availability - can only find one at Partsworld performance! delivery two weeks for another!

I'll get there, even if I have to push the damn thing round the circuit!

Is it the standard LS7 knock sensors you use? If so, we have a whole load...

Update -
Before swapping out the knock sensors, we changed sensitivity - and no more error code!
BUT - regardless of the sensor level now set in the ECM - it will not see knock, and the borrowed units make no difference.

I tried settings for about 5 different std variations of LS7 based car, and nothing.

So, unless I have a eureka moment, and bearing in mind the car is currently on a conservative tune, I will make Silverstone without any knock protection. Think I will have to go buy a stethoscope for the event to plug in my lug-oles!
