just came back from TÜV (MOT) in Germany

Hi folks,
just got my new tuev for the next 2 years and I had quite some horror if i can pass
the emissions test. I have a modified LS7 with a mechanical throttle body only running from MAP
on a DTAS80 ECU that I have programmed myself. PASSED !!!
What a great surprise that my programming and lambda map obviously can pass the german emissions tests.

yes there were cats in the car (at least during the time at TUEV)
thanks for the compliments, but I have great respect for the industry
how much effort they put in the ecu programming and I am never satisfied with
the result of what I am doing.
I always had a small leak at the header right at the exit of the engine and have been putting a new seal after tuev while I
was installing my standard exhaust (straight tube)and immediately had effects on the ECU programming being to lean with
minimum throttle opening and resulting in huge explosions (you know what I mean).

I had the same problem, to high exhaust CO
For the TUV/APK/MOT the lambda it was not good,
That's why I always bring it to the supplier before that
KMS in my case is around the corner.
I went there and they fixed within 1/2 hour.
Of course it runs better as a bonus!
