Ultima's in OZ

I'm living in the UK and in the market for an Ultima but looking to emigrate to Brisbane or Melbourne in the next couple of years. I'd like to talk to anyone that has imported one as a personal import, or already resident there and ordered one from the factory and can offer some friendly advice. I've done a fair amount of research but there's a couple of things I haven't been able to clarify with regards to valuation (import) and registration.
