G50 vs. Getrag

After lots of phoning around/emailing for G50's does anyone run a Getrag (as supplied by the factory) and would care to compare it?

Has anybody thought about going with a semi-automatic gearbox instead of a manual?

What you need is the full F1 paddle shift experience. Get rid of all those linkages altogether

Of course mate, if you actually 'had' a gearbox at the mo. you could try and fashion something out of old Kellogs packets and string

A gearbox eh? I remember the days when I had a gearbox..

Spent most of yesterday replacing the rear wheel bearings on the car. Blimey it's a fiddle. Those metal oil seals are a right pig to get in and out.

I also patched up the paintwork where I got sideswiped by a couple of Caterhams at Croft last season, so the car should look slightly less second hand for Folembray. Assuming I have a gearbox in time of course...
