I had one fitted this May as I use to struggle in hot weather. Since I had it fitted it been like a new car it just allowed the engine to draw in fresh air and breath. It’s back running on all 8 cylinders . Bloody brilliant 👍

There have been similar boxes made and used by owners with positive results. May I suggest you heat shield the carbon elbow which passes between the two silencers/mufflers with some nice gold insulation. That would further reduce heat sink and improve cooler air to flow into the intake

I think it looks great - could you share how you made it? How it attaches to the manifold.

I had a somewhat similar box on my first GTR. My inlet air temp sensor was inside the box, the delta between before and after applying gold tape was significant.

I've had one designed to go over the ITBs on my LS3. Carbon print with clear heat proof windows and K&N panel filter on top. Still in development.
