GTR spring rates

what spring rates does a GTR use?

I built a gtr with a bmw v12 and built a lot of stuff I should have bought from Ultima
so I had to decide what rate of spring to put in.

I did the math to achieve the same frequency at the front and back of the car that the Mclaren F1 has;
80 cycles per minute at the front and 92 cpm at the back. I ended up with 200 lb per in. springs at the front and 300 lb per in at the back. This is way less than I remember on my trip to see Ted, I think he uses
600 lb per in. on all four corners. I did install an
anti roll bar at the front reducing the need for high spring rates at the front.
so what spring do you guys use for street use?

While we are talking shocks, anyone know the compression and extension lengths of the factory shocks.

Somebody has to know the compression / extension lengths of the shocks and the spring rates. Is everyone running the factory koni setup

Email the factory, probably your best bet or call the factory supplier. I haven't seen any photos of car with anything but the factory dampers fitted.

The factory uses Intrax or Avo's - not Konis btw.

Sorry to put you right Stig but so far I've seen the factory supply Spax, Avo, Koni and the more expensive Intrax.

Ps will you be at the VW meet on the 2 Feb ?

No problem. By the car's nature I suppose you can fit anything you like!
