freesat dish does it have to be outside

hi as per the title does a freesat dish have to be mounted on the outside. I live in a flat and they are not to keen on exterior dishes. I do have a loft where i can mount a dish.

Needs to be able to 'see' the satellite. Loft not suitable.

We're not allowed a dish on show, so mounted it in the garden, below the 6 foot fence line.
