Marantz SR 6005, Sky and lip sync problems

Guys

Just changed back from BT to SKY and, when running the HDMI from the Sky box into the amp then to TV, I am getting awful delay on sound. Never had the issue on the BT box and the SKY only allows 200ms of adjustment.
The Amp has a lip sync feature which is doing naff all.
Tried different HDMI leads to no avail.

Any ideas?

On my tv I can adjust the sound/picture sync from the menu, it's one of the options under "sound". Check if you have that facility on your telly.

If that fails try hdmi for vision and go toslink for audio (most modern amps will allow you to select various sources for each input) - it's easily capable of handling the limited surround sound formats available from Sky broadcast.

Don't forget to select DD in the sound output options on the sky box.

Well I ended up running a separate optical audio from sky to the amp and seems to have resolved itself thankfully.
