I want to avoid wireless audio (Bluetooth, etc) and send stereo audio from one analogue device to another within the house. Is it possible to get a widget that does that?

(Much like the 'powerline' plug-in ones that extend wi-fi and give ethernet over mains, but with a real-time audio signal.)

What analogue devices are you talking about at each end?

Are you happy to have a separate device to convert to digital and another one to send it?

Thanks folks. I want real-time with no latency. Only local FM wireless transmission seems to offer that. 'Medium fi' at best.

So I was trying to find out if there's an all-analogue system that can squirt stereo audio along a mains wire. So that's 2x20kHz signals. A tiny proportion of the data that it's possible to send over the mains via digital means.
