Which 24" HD TV for bedroom

Sorry for a "which" question, but I need a bit of advice from someone who knows what they're looking at.
Requirements are: -
24" as it's for a smallish bedroom. I have a 22" there presently but it's just a bit too small, and having tried a 24" on the same mount, know that it looks better, at least to my tired old eyes.
VESA 75mm or 100mm mounting. Ideally central or slightly low on the rear of the TV though definitely not too high up. The one I tried had a high mount on it (Panasonic TX24C300B) and I wasn't really happy with the way it sat or the viewing angle.
Freeview HD + analogue tuner. I feel that the HD channels are justified by the better quality picture, and the analogue is needed to run the satellite box through the RF.
NO stand by light. I realise that this may be an issue, and if I can't eliminate this feature then I'll probably just tape over it, but it would be nice not to have it in the first place.

VESA 75, Freeview HD, but it does have a blue standby light, so it doesn't quite satisfy all of your requirements.
It seems to be generally accepted that HD doesn't make too much of a difference at this size, but I agree with you because the picture on BBC1 HD on this TV is so much better than the SD tuner on the 22" Samsung it replaced.
The only thing that I'd have liked that it misses is an optical output for my soundbar. Cheaper models seem to have this, but it is at the expense of the HD tuner and resolution which was much more important to me.
There is no 'Smart' interface here, but that is not really a major problem.

The Samsung mentioned would be ideal, though the VESA mounting holes are high up on the rear from the pictures I've found whilst searching. I "could" fabricate some form of slide/ladder for it to raise it slightly, though would prefer something already suitable like the present one I'm using. The light is not the end of the world, as I mentioned earlier it could be taped over I suppose, I just have an aversion to any form of light in the bedroom, even the lume on my watch.
