So looking to get a new TV. 3D seems to be long and gone now, sky,bbc etc all stopping 3D broadcasting. 4K seems to be the rage. I don't really have a 4K source, my nvidia tv box and shield tablet I believe can give me some. I'm really looking to sort of future proof myself. Now I don't have too much cash. £500ish. I've seen this TV on Richer sounds web page.

Yes, excellent for the money. They are really pushing the brand in Europe now and receive favourable reviews from owners on AVF - and that's a pretty discerning crowd.

Crikey, that seems outrageous value for money. The reviews are very positive and you can get a 6yr guarantee. What's not to like?

Be warned - you get what you pay for. Yes, they are good value but there are lots of firmware bugs in the more expensive sets and they generally don't have the capability to be calibrated to rec709 standard.

If you want a big tv for the bedroom or for casual viewing they are great. If you want the latest smart tv apps and a reference quality picture for watching blu rays I would look elsewhere. Plenty of stuff about the various models over on AVforums.

What would be your recommendation for a £530 livingroom TV
