Hi
Trying to get Spotify to play on my sound dock.
I have tried a couple of Bluetooth adaptors but they have a bad habit of not connecting to my phone and iPad.

Has anyone used and iPod touch with one of these devices to use Spotify or internet radio ?

I've used an ipod touch/iphone/ipad to play internet radio through my SoundDock all the time. It just plugs in, charges, and plays. I'm assuming you have a BT sound dock?

I was just about to spend £500 on a new sonos system, but for £11.99 its given my sound dock a whole new lease of life

Good luck

Yeah me too but essentially there's nothing wrong with the sound quality on the SD, just its functionality.

I've just looked at the Layen I-dock through Amazon but other than the price difference I can't see its any better.

The MPOW arrived yesterday and unfortunately it didn't work. It would seem the first gen Bose Sound dock are split into V1 & V2 dependant on the years of manufacture and the power side of things on the 30pin connector are wired up differently. Check the Bose website for details and Leyen also have a good explanation in which one you need.

Just plugged in the Layen BS-1 and it works perfectly. Very good sound for Bluetooth, I'm impressed and it's given this old bit of kit a new life smile
