Been offered a Panasonic TX-P46G15B 46" plasma inc stand for £100, Googled it & reviews are a little mixed.

Is it worth a punt for £100 to replace our newer, but smaller, Panny 39" LED?

Without knowing your LED model, I'd say YES, definitely.

Christ I'm old. A 39" for the kids playroom. I remember my jaw hitting the floor as a kid when I read that George Best actually had a 26" colour tv.

We had a 14" black and white, rented of course. Not that I got to watch it, it was my job to stand behind it holding the aerial.

No child today will know the pleasure of a rolling picture and adjusting the vertical hold.

Didn't bother in the end, keep thinking OLED but way too pricey at the mo so may wait until. They drop in price.

Sold for £120 in the end but yes, very cheap. They seem to go for about that on eBay anyway.
