I want to use external amplification and speakers with my tv simple in principle but I have nowhere to put them as it's a typical corner mounted tv. I don't have space underneath for a sound bar so do I have any real options at all?

Can you move the TV?

Assuming you cannot move anything, how about ceiling speakers, or small wall/stand mount?

Would be good if you can put the TV in the bay, and move the soft through 90 degrees to face it.

I can't view a larger image, but it looks like you can get a sound bar under the TV. Why can you not?

Alternative is a small setup with two speakers under the TV, with a sub and then an AV amp (2.1 setup). Something like the B&W mini theatre (M1) speakers would probably fit.

the issue with the sound bar is the tv cabinet isnt under the front of the tv really so it would nee to hang from the tv and tbh it might look a bit st. the rooms getting decorated etc so cabinet will most likely change but it will never get deeper

Wall mount the TV, then get floating corner shelves under the TV to put the equipment and speakers on, leaving space at the bottom for sub.

Get rid of the cabinet.

Whats your budget?

Hide all the cables if you go with floating shelves, keep it looking clean and tidy.

I plan on it I hate the huge grid system the builder put in it used to be behind the old cabinet

I'm thinking aluminium box section as a frame then alu sheet with a return on it as the shelf and some dynamat or something to kill any resonance
