Budget 4k or top end HD TV for gaming?

So I can't make a decision on what TV to get for my man cave. The Sony KDL50W805c gets great reviews and is about £550. Seems to be regarded as the best full fat HD set out there. For this money I can get something like a Samsung UE48JU6400 or Pany 50cx680b which are both considered budget entry 4k sets. For playing PS4 and probably NFL and F1 etc viewing, what would you guys go for? I live in the country so no 4k streaming for the foreseeable future.

You have no 4k content so I'd go for a good 1080. That's all the consoles can produce natively (for gaming).
