Humax Freesat box - no sound to amp in TV tuner mode

Odd one this. Fired up my new Humax Freesat box (HDR100S) the other day and the audio played through my (Yamaha) amp if I was in catch up mode (iPlayer or Netflix) but not if I was in TV Tuner mode.

There is still an audio signal (I can hear it if turn up the built-in TV speakers) but it doesn't seem to get to my amp.

Odd.

Any suggestions for diagnostics?

Found the problem.

One of the kids had turned the volume right down on the Humax remote.

In that mode the amp (Yamaha RX V673) doesn't get enough of an audio signal from the STB in TV mode. But there's still enough of an on-demand signal for the amp to use.
