It's time to upgrade my 2013 50" Panny 50GT50 and I am seriously considering the LG OLED 65 G6. These can now be had for £3.5k (compared with original price of £6.5k).

However, has anyone done something similar and regretted the move to a larger screen? My viewing distance is about 10 feet.

I regretted getting a 55 at 6 foot viewing distance for 4k. Should have gone bigger.

Went from a Panasonic 42" to an LG OLED 55" and almost instantly wished I'd gone for the 65".

The bezel on the Panasonic was rather large whereas the bezel on the LG is tiny so the actual overall size of the 55" LG set was not as big as anticipated (despite measuring) and the 65" will fit when I get in later in the year thumbup

Do it.. LG OLEDs are pretty awe inspiring. I've never heard of someone being unhappy with a screen being too big, personally.

I've got the 65 inch LG B6, with a viewing distance just short of 5m and if anything its a little too small. At your viewing distance it'll be great.

I bought a 60" nine years ago now, never looked back. Still waiting for newer things to get to sensible prices and sizes.

Bought a 65" for the rear of the kitchen - perfect size; sofa about 6-7 feet about.

I went from 42" Pioneer Plasma to 65" Oled at the end of last year. I thought it might be physically too big (it only just fits between my speakers) but actually is perfect.
My viewing distance is similar to yours - and it's absolutely superb. Do it!

One of my mates has purchased a couple of these - 1 for the lounge and 1 for the kitchen* - and he's been very impressed.

*he has a big kitchen which is now complemented by his big TVs.

I've just bought a 65 and I'm looking to return it to go back to a 58".

Way too big for our room, which isn't small however price was just to good to not try it.

Thankfully, as I bought it online, I have 35 days to exchange it.

I've always found that if it's going to be wall hung then you need much bigger than you imagine. But if it's on a stand on a cabinet the. you need to be a little more careful.

It will be fine even with 1080p and in a few years a lot of content will be 4k which will be a feast . We have a 65" in family room at 3m and it's great much more cinematic than the 60" At 5m in the lounge

TV's can never be big enough.

We went from 40 to 60 and it looked massive at first. Within 2 weeks it looked normal, and I wish I'd gone 65 or 70

Considering how little there is in standard HD that has been around for ever, I can't see 4K content being pushed that hard at the moment.

4K still a bit slow but it is picking up. What I have in 4K is worth it to me.
