Hello
I've recently replaced my 5.1 home cinema speakers with an Atmos sound bar, so have a full working set of Tannoy Mercury speakers and a 7.2 Home Cinema receiver cluttering up the spare bedroom.

I have 2 questions for the gurus on this forum, please...

1: Any recommendations on the best place to sell these?
If there's not a better option then I'll stick them on E-Bay.

2: What's a fair price that I can expect (this will determine whether it all gets donated to local Scout Hall instead)?
- Yamaha Aventage RX-1020 receiver is as new incl ethernet dongle, remote, setup mic and paperwork;
- Speakers are Mercury MX series: 2x MX4 fronts, 2x MX1 rears, 1x MXC centre, 1x MX-SUB. All as new, other than a slight discoloration on one of the front speaker grilles. Main speakers are all light oak with grey speaker grilles. Sub is a darker colour - more like walnut.
- 2x Atacama rear speaker stands - aluminium
- 1x Sonus Systems Elite 900mm glass and aluminium 3-shelf unit (was bought to take a Loewe Aconda CRT years ago so copes with VERY heavy gear!)
- A huge amount of silver anniversary 4-section speaker cabling with banana clips
- Sub / amp phono cable

Many thanks
Neil

I'd be interested in the Yamaha receiver......whereabouts are you and do you have a price in mind?

I'm in Dunfermline (Fife) and was hoping to sell the whole lot as a package otherwise I suspect I'll be left with unusable / unsellable gear.

Absolutely no idea what it's worth - hence my original post.

I'll be happy to consider a sensible offer, though.

An active and very busy forum with a great classified section where you could advertise your kit but you could also check the archives for prices achieved for the same equipment in the recent past.

Thanks. I'll take a look there tonight.
