LG TV Broken

Is this toast? LG plasma, only had it 4 years, to replace my older Samsung plasma that also went like this!!

I thought these plasma tv's were meant to last years.

If the same thing happened to both I'd look for a common cause... Is that fireplace heating the TV up?

no, ive only been in this place 18 months and have yet to use the fire - its a ethanol type thing were you have to put fuel in it, anyway never used it once. Ive switched it on today and it has now got worse so thing il be heading down to Currys or similar for a new one. What's the best 50" at the moment for under £800?
