Tighter socket

I have an aux input (that can't be dismantled as it's flush fitted somewhere) that is getting a bit loose... it's a 3.5mm headphone jack that the plugs rattle around in a bit and cause signal loss.
Are there any handy tips for making such a socket a bit tighter?

If to a bit of kit, try removing the back/top and seeing how accessible it is. You might simply be able to use a pair of pliers to tighten the connection locally (with a plug in the socket).
If knackered, Maplins will probably be able to sell you a replacement. Simply desolder the duff one and replace with minty new one and solder it up.
Needless to say, disconnect the kit from the mains first and let any capacitors discharge for an hour or two first.
