Hi All,

I'm currently running a Sky+ HD box with a 2tb HD.

I would also like another freesat box, sick of paying sky for multi-room, we don't even watch much TV but need the option!

I noticed on some freesat boxes from ebay, they only had one single LNB port or what-ever you call it?!

My current sky box has two?

I also have two spare cables from my dish hanging at the back of my cabinet, so do I need a box with two ports?

A NOW TV box will do the trick.

Sc0tt.....I should have said....we live in the country and have very very limited broadband.....

In fact we have a mobile sim inserted into a wifi-router box...so 30gb allowance is all we get.

I need a freesat box.

As far as I know the now TV box works fine as a free view receiver.

If you put freesat into argos search they have some freesat recorders. Humax seem to be the best brand. Plenty of 2nd hand Humax on facebook/ebay

But it has a terrestrial aerial input not a satellite dish one (& that's only on the Smart box, not the original one).

Humax HDR-1100 or whatever this weeks name is

Dual inputs, recorder, gives you almost everything you get with sky except the sky channels and the bills

I have 3 in my house

Humax - it's worth checking their website for graded/returned units they sometimes offer at a discount.
