Sky Q new lock feature

Just noticed this morning SkyQ have added a lock feature under the Delete/remove series link/ keep/more episodes part of the programme recording.
Any idea what it’s for?

Does it lock the show to the front page of your planner? Bit like a stickied thread on a forum.

Why didn’t you just try it...

Anyway its like parental lock, you need your pin to watch what ever it is. Babestaion 10 min freeview or 6pm news.

Thanks. I didn’t try it purely because I’m wary of some of the updates Sky do so I’d rather someone else tried it first.
