samsung the frame tv

anyone got one? just a gimmick or a cool looking tv? do you sacrifice tv spec for the novelty?

I wouldn't as I think they're a little naff, but that's just me.

They look pretty good but not sure if they have s real purpose. I see they are quite thin so you have to have the Power pack away from the TV so no need for a plug socket behind the tv

For it to look right you would need to hang it at picture height.
You may find that to high for comfortable viewing when you are sat down.

We use them a fair amount. They dont visually work in every environment and seem to make more sense when grouped with actual pictures.

There aren't any downsides really apart from price and the daft monthly fee if you want special artwork.
