40" TV Suggestions?
Discussion
A couple of weeks back my mum's "old" 32" TV broke so it got replaced with a £199 32" Toshiba TV which, whilst basic in features, has an excellent picture when used with FreeView Plus and iPlayer which is all she really uses it with.
It's made me think my old 37" Panasonic Plasma is getting on a bit and it's Black Friday weekend....
Any suggestion on a set that combines a "natural" picture with a good integrated tuner and some Smart TV functionality, or is it simpler to just focus on the picture and get an external box for the other stuff?
I'm hoping to be able to use NowTV and maybe the TV Player app for some things I currently need Sky for.
I don't game or use 4K sources so I don't think I can justify spending a small fortune when, presumably, the source Freeview or Freesat signal will be the bottleneck?
