Surround sound, going wireless??

I have the conventional 5.1 surround sound with denon amp, while I would say it's ok, it doesn't really blow me away!

Basically, I am fed up with the wires trailing everywhere and had a look at the sonos system in JL and it sounded good, are there any other options or is Sonos the leader of the pack?
