Tv without aerial
Discussion
Get any tv you like and buy a firestick.
TV makers tend to have limited apps, they often stop supporting the apps when the model has been out of production for a while,so that when the app gets a major update (like iplayer did 2 years ago) the app will no longer work.
If you get a firestick, there is only one device to support, so they have a much longer lifespan.
You can also put tv player on a firestick which is live freeview tv via the net, very few tvs if any support this app.

Note that some apps (I think ITV Player might be one?) may need an aerial connecting to determine the location you are in (not just for localised content but also licensing) however I believe that is only for initial setup and isn't required continuously.
Didn’t need to when I set up our new tv. No aerial.bristolracer said:

Fully agree, or the NVidia shield for the true daddy of smart/streaming boxes. The fire stick will give you all the features, but less slick.
