Projector/summerhouse issue
Discussion
Can anyone help and tell me how to set up a projector.
Im thinking of putting an Epson tw650 in my summer house.
There are speakers inside the summerhouse, decent ones. The amp is inside the kitchen with cable running under garden (only speaker cable not hdmi). I also want an amazon firestick to be able to use the projector for films etc. How can I get the sound out the speakers (is this possible) or would i need to put a sound bar. Could I use a google chromcast?
Im a bit lost. Several people on the Epson reviews say it is a pain getting the audio out of it.

I'd split the audio out of the HDMI input using a cheap adapter like https://www.amazon.co.uk/LiNKFOR-Extractor-Optical...
Then feed the audio to a separate amp in the shed.
ether a std. amp, https://www.richersounds.com/hi-fi/amplifiers-rece...
or if you want more sources, a mini-hifi like this https://www.richersounds.com/panasonic-sapmx82-bla...
And wire direct to the speakers, ignoring the indoor-outdoor run.
Bearing in mind it's sitting in a shed, I'd be looking for the cheapest, woodgrainiest amp\mini I could find in a local charity shop, and using that.

Easiest way would be to move the amp ( I assume AVR) in to the summer house - plug all sources in and then wire speakers locally. HDMI up to the projector. The AVR then does all source switching.
If I am reading your post correctly it will be a right pain trying to do it any other way.
