We've moved house and as part of the trade, the previous owner included all the contents of his media room. Like with most things in the house, he had a habit of seems of lack of maintenance / general care...the projector being no exception.
There is a pinky / slightly dark "blob" to the centre right of the screen that is most visible when there is green on that part of the screen (I watch football on it so is rather annoying). I have cleaned the lens but to no avail.
Can anyone suggest someone / a company that they have used to clean the internal optics of such a projector?

thanks

I doubt a clean would work. It's probably an issue with the bulb/led or something similar.

Any idea on the make or model?

Sorry, I see it's in the title

If I had it in front of me here in Hull and it was really bothering me I would def have a go at the cleaning routine.
If one of your mates is a tinkerer/electronics nerd give it to them.
Good projectors are relatively cheap nowadays so if it dies.........

My local PC repair business will have a go at repairing/cleaning them-if it's a bulb or balast unit issue they'd be easily capable. Might be worth checking out if you have a similar one?

The one I'm thinking of the boss (an old mate) still does some of the work on units, that sort of place.
