Teac AH500i replacement speakers

I have a teac 500 reference system which I’ve owned for years and I absolutely love the sound .

I am however looking to replace the Original LS500u 110W speakers with something smaller and in a dark wood .

Any suggestions ? Thanks in advance

Ive still got the 5.1 Teac 500 range sitting idle at the moment (5.1 amp with matching DVD player and CD multi-changer).

I’ve used it with various standmount speakers from Mission and Warfdale and relatively small floorstanders (AE 109s).

Something like Mission 761i’s really do well and suit the system - available in lots of finishes and cost relativel peanuts on the likes of eBay.
