I was just browsing FB market place and someone was adverting this:

TT-6000 surround system speakers: Brand new still boxed ,unopened and never used must sell quick,

Not much info to go on so I google TT-6000 surround sound speakers and come up with this image:

It turns out is a brand I have never heard of 'CAV' and they seem to be sold mainly through 'Alieexpress' so..chinese tat I think to myself.

But then i think. those boxes look a bit big to just hold two little speakers like that so i message the guy and he tells me they belonged to his son who moved out and told his dad he might as well sell them as he will never use them...ok.

So he opens up the first box to see what was in it.

None the wiser here "What is in the other box?"

Bugger me. 'Tiny'!

There is a blast from the passed! it took me a little while to place the name and I tracked the company down, sadly it only exists in wikipedia these days smile

I just cant make up my mind whether the boxes should go straight to the tip because finding someone who wants 20yr old speakers from a british tat maker will be impossible. Or, is this a wonderful time capsule type discovery and there is a guy somewhere, sitting in his 90's themed man cave who would love to hook this system up to his Saisho Stack and watch top gun on betamax..

The guy will take £50 for them..I certainly dont want them but i almost feel guilty if he ends up taking them to the tip!

TINY=tough it's now yours

The days of those shops in a nearby mall flogging you a PC on easy credit. "Look it's got windows and if you buy this modem for 39.99 you can get the internet"
"Yahoo is the future dontchano, and if you wanna know stuff you just ask Jeeves"
