Anyone tried or got one of these?

Can get one for £199 at the moment. Saw a couple of reviews which looked good, but wondered if anyone had one and their thoughts?

Looks like it's gone down £10 since yesterday!

Maybe even cheaper on black friday

The price goes down the longer your a customer. We got one for a family member. Good bass, gets bloody loud but it's massive. Not a soundbar by any means

They are an odd shape, mine sits under a wall mounted TV and it both looks and sounds ok.

The RRP is some ridiculous figure but £200 isn’t unreasonable, just don’t expect miracles.

Quite tempted, have the same offer
Only reservation is that it will mean raising TV bracket, as it’s taller than existing sound bar ..

Has anyone compared one of these to the Sonos Sondbar?

One thing to note, it only works with SKY box, so as no Amazon Prime Video app you don't get the 'benefit'.
BBC iPlayer and Netflix are fine with SKY apps.

I’ve had a Sonos soundbar and sub combo for a while now, we’ve just moved house and thought we’d try a soundbox as a comparison

The soundbox sounds better than a tv, but nowhere near as good as the Sonos. Might be a tad unfair of a comparison but I’m pretty sure the outcome would be the same without the sub

The sky box is pretty meh in terms of performance. Ludicrously bad value at the 800 quid or so they originally wanted, At 200? Maybe. But rather have Canton 60 or 75 which is much better in performance

I've just ordered one for £199. Had to modify my TV cabinet for it to fit. Looking forward to receiving it.

Received the Soundbox today, which was quick as I only ordered it yesterday.
Quite dressed so for for the £199.
I thought it might have a greater choice of sound modes, but the default mode seems good enough.
I like how the Sky Q remote can turn it on, and adjust volume etc.

I’ve had one almost since day one, I take it for granted now, I think they sound pretty good for £200.

The only gripe is that my old Samsung didn’t want to control it, the Anynet+ function was borked so I always had to use the little remote.

I’ve got a newer TV now and it all works nicely together.

Pretty good sound if you want to Bluetooth music to it via the Sky Q box or your phone.

By the way, the box is supposed to sit in the open without any obstructions to the left or right, boxing it in like that won’t give the full experience.

Your right, but the shelf pulls out. It was initially a drawer but when I ordered the Soundbox I converted it to a shelf. I just need to fit a stopper so it doesn't pull too far out so it all falls on the floor.

Before..
