Aiwa R22/S22 micro system

Have inherited 2/3rds of my brothers micro system except speakers.

Anyone know why the plugs or connectors are called so I can get some and add speakers?

It's a DIN socket.

As simple as that? When I googled Din I get a round plug with pins. From memory this was a large flat spade and two smaller spades as part of the plug connectors.
