We have just bought an old 1970's duplex flat in Grove for our daughter to live in whilst in her apprenticeship at Williams F1 & we are embarking on a full intenall restoration as it's had no work done since 1983.

We are looking into the options for TV, so we can, if necessary, channel out the wall for TV coax from the aerial. One option I was wondering about is streaming to a smart TV from a Wi-Fi hub. Is it even possible to have a full, normal freeview type service without a dish or aerial?

No dish or aerial, just an internet connection to your android tv box of choice. Amazon and Google sell them but there are many suppliers of the same item on eBay - careful selection will see you pay less than &20 for an ‘unlocked’ or ‘decoded’ box that can show every channel being broadcast.

Google ‘android tv decoder’ if you really must, or just tell her to play the laptop/PC through the TV screen. Nobody needs an aerial or a dish.
