I've got a Sony TV not 85 inch although the picture is very good I wouldn't buy another the software is buggy and suffers with lots of lag using the menu's

I would go for an LG or Samsung

Ive had a SONY 75” that I bought for £5k around three years back. Fantastic TV no issues and keeps updating itself via Android.

Going to buy another 85” soon.

I find LG and Samsung firmware a bit weird to use

Very few TV software is comparable to a good streaming box (nvidia shield, amazon fies stick etc etc, the TV software won't get supported as long as their software. Its aldi easier replacing a fire stick after a few years then a £5k TV because your favourite app is no longer supported.

I have a LG TV with WebOS. Do not get the one with WebOS. Can't pair more than 1 Bluetooth device at a time with it. My model (can't remember exactly, the 65in one from 3 years ago) also has a design fault meaning I need to call a guy out to replace the WiFi modem every 6 months

To fit in, a Burberry ball cap, a hoodie, and cargo shorts that hover around your calves are essential if you wish to join the crowd that watch huge TV sets in their home.

Have I missed something??? Maybe the guy lives in a big house. Or wants to have a cinema room??

Just to clarify my ‘wow’ was not a negative one.

Depends on your budget.

Sony panels are made by LG (IIRC - But that may only be in OLED) But a 85" OLED will be a lot more than an 85" QLED or standard LED screen..

Costco is a good place to go and look at huge TVs.
