I know this is probably been asked a million times before but i have spent a few nights reading reviews and am no closer to deciding,

Looking to spend £600-£700 on a 4k tv , ideally 55-65" not that fussed on size. Currently using a no brand 42" lcd tv i got 4 years ago.

Not sure if people reviewing them are too techy and anything less than a £2k tv is crap. I dont spend to much time watching movies but deff need an upgrade.

Any advice would be great.

This is the price point I normally shop. Currently looking at at 2019 model Samsung q65 I think it is. I like Samsung and this model seems to have a decent spec.

Will you use the smart features much? I like the LG user interface

Last time I bought a TV my focus was on getting a long warranty. Richer Sounds offer good warranties so I went with them and bought their best buy at my price point

I dont think i will use the menus much, at the moment i just cast my laptop/youtube/dodgy androip app to the tv. If it came without a tv tuner it wouldnt bother me lol.

Will check out that samsung model you mentioned.

Standard PH answer: find an extra £400 and buy a 55" LG OLED.

well to bring some closure to this.

only 4-6 hrs of youtube videos later i think i found the best without going over the budget. I am not tv geek , just have a 8 year old tv that needs replaced.

Samsung 7020 seems to be pretty solid. Will report back once it arrives tomorrow biggrin

Budget no option, OLED.

For everything else, Samsung.

I’ve had a number of Samsung’s over the years and never been disappointed.

I’m impressed that a 65 inch can now be had for a price starting with a ‘5’.
