Which large tv to buy?
Discussion
Currently have a 2016 lg oled 950v 65 inch. New living room is 6.5m long and the 65" actually looks small as we sit at the far end of the room.
I have a £2k Currys voucher and happy to put in another £750 or so. So it has to be from Currys sadly.
Plan is to go 75" or preferably 85" ish, I cant get OLED for that money so need to go another route.
I was just about to go for a Samsung 82" Q70R for £2.2k but it has been discontinued.
I now fancy the Samsung 75" Q90R as its seems to be as close to OLED as I can get https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/tv-and-home-entertai...
But wife prefers size over quality :-)
There is also this Sony but over my preferred budget currently https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/tv-and-home-entertai...
There are other Samsung/Sony/LG 85" tv's under £2.5k or so but are they any good? https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/tv-and-home-entertai...
Main usage is Sky Q, Netflix, Amazon. No gaming, no wide angle required. Very bright room during the day. Dolby Atmos would be nice, I'm adding a Sonos Arc to this tv.
Thanks for any opinions!

As the proud owner of an LG OLED b8-65 and an 82inch Samsung Q70 i feel this is my opportunity to comment
The Samsung is ok. Its fine. It does the job and thats it.
Other than its massive size adding abit of wow, I find the picture pretty flat (even after my amateur attempts at calibration) but you get used to it.
However as soon as I watch my entry level OLED again the difference is immediate.
But with the prices of large screen OLEDs being the price that they are, i simply couldnt justify the step up.
In my humble research, the Sony (900 series i think its called?) looked very good for the price but AndroidTV was not for me. I found it laggy and a little unintuitive. Both Tizen and WebOS run rings round it. However I guess that could be solved with firestick or similar.

Thanks - I think my choice is going to be between the 75" Q90R and an 85" Sony of some sort, probably a KD85XG8596BU, which seems like a good tv but not Q90R or OLED level.
The big plus for the Sony other than size is they are supposed to deal with motion better than the LG's and Samsungs I believe - my OLED does suffer sometimes and reviews of the Q90R arent flattering when it comes to judder.
