Any idea what I could get away with? I’m moving TV to a different room, and with it denon amp and KEF egg surround sound (2 front, 2 rear, centre and sub) wiring to the front isn’t an issue, but hiding the cables to the rear is challenging, the smaller the cable the better, any recommendations?
Thanks

I run a second sub on a wireless sender receiver... That's one less cable.

I use this stuff. Unobtrusive, up and over doors as well.

But then small room and easy to sit on the existing skirting. Get a reasonable quality cable down it.

If you have carpet, cut a channel into the underlay and run it in there.

Several different manufacturers do a flat cable that still has a good gauge (thickness) to maintain quality.

Just make sure it is not aluminium coated in copper.
You want oxygen free copper.

Edit. Another option - is find a chippy who can remove your skirting boards - get a router on a bench - and hollow out a channel of the back of the skirting.

I got some http://www.mazeaudio.com/speaker-cables.html and it was as you say aluminium coated in copper. You could tell as soon at you picked up the box from the post man. It felt empty, then did find the cables inside.

If you have modern skirtingboards, this stuff almost vanishes when run along the top, I’ve used it to connect my rears in the telly room.

Why do you want oxygen free copper? What difference do you think that it makes?

The amount of new physics that marketing people find that totally passed by the scientists is quite amazing.

It’s good that as shown by the posts on here that the connoisseurs of high fidelity music also happen to have ears that can outperform the finest oscilloscopes known to man.
