Disney+ app on LG4K Smart TV
Discussion
This is driving me to distraction now...have Netflix, Prime and Disney+
The first two stream seamlessly (I live zone 3 London with something like 60mbps internet speed) but Disney+ is a glitching nightmare. Anything on it just stutters along every 10 seconds or so it stutters lose sound and picture jolts. I have an LG 43" PLA TV just two years old. I have tried:
Restarting the app and TV including complete power down
Updating firmware on TV and for the app
Restarting my router
Pausing and waiting for a few minutes whilst watching to see if it buffers ahead but doesnt do anything.
Stopping the programme, leaving the app running for 10 mins, then starting it again
I really cannot understand why this app is so crap whilst Netflix and Prime jog along fine no problem. I dont want wires running across the room from the router (which has a clear space between it and the TV of about 5 metres).
Any ideas?

Glad you got it sorted. I need Disney + but just for a few days at the end of November to watch The Beatles Get back three parter - not sure whats the best way to get it for such a short period. I have basic Sky/Smart TV and a wi-fi router.
Maybe they have a free week offer still? They did when I got it, free for a week then something like £8 a month now. You should be able to put the app on your smart tv or just watch it on your laptop (I have the browser app on my chromebook too)Forums | Home Cinema & Hi-Fi | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
