I'm hoping to start work on my cinema room soon, and I REALLY want a star ceiling.

Does anyone have one and/or have any recommendations for the best places to get a good one? (I'm guessing like anything, quality varies).

I would recommend using Starscape https://www.starceiling.com. Its not something we tend to install now as its not as popular/fashionable as it used to be but we do have customers with older cinema rooms who have still have them. What I like about Starscape is that when issues arrise, we're still able supply various parts to repair.

The bar has raised more than a little since I built mine 20 years ago.

Peak cinema back then was 3d projectors and an electric screen.

You're welcome.smile

3D was fad, which I always I tried to explain to my customers, withmixed success, that it wasn't a technology to invest in projector wise. Now they have cupboards full of expensive unused glasses and coupled with their two 3D DVD'sbiggrin
